Controls: WASD to move, click to interact with rotation buttons.

Created for the debut 2026 Juniper Jam as a latecomer (2 days into the total 7) , Rotation Labs is a puzzle platformer (sort of).

In the jam release, I was only able to get to button-based rotation, though context-aware on-demand player rotation is actually available in the code, I just didn't end up prioritizing the levels and content that would make the rotation useful.

Despite the above, I am pretty happy with how the project has turned out, as I learned a ton of things while developing it.

I do have this project mirrored on GitHub, which can be found with the link below:

Very creative idea!
I played until what I assume is the end. It took a second at the start to figure out which way I was spinning and where my goal had moved to as the floor and walls are all the same colour, but with that changed and a bit of polish, I could easily see this becoming a Steam game :)

Thanks for checking out my game!

Yeah, I completely agree, I didn't have anyone but me playtest the game until the jam release, so I didn't notice the many UX issues that my game had (such as the difficulty in realizing when things have rotated, or the timer that resets you back to your previous rotation with no warning)

I definitely plan on continuing to work on this project, I have so many mechanic ideas I tested and level designs that I did not have the time to finalize for this project, but I will be taking everything I learned and using it in this and future projects!
